Ascent

Clasping the hands of death I rise above the pain As my last majestic breaths Pervaded the silence of the room. I am ready, ready for the transition. Upon my final breath, I could see myself, No not in the mirror, But leaving the gross body And steadily rising upwards. With my ascent, the memories Returned to stage its last try To pull me back into the world Of shape and form, But its temptation was far less Attractive, than the glorious Unknown greeting me. And so I rise, Above, the sun and moon And the stars, all seem to disappear in a flash, but still I soared high, without any direction, without an end. I felt no emotion, in this fighting, Crying, laughing throng, Only bliss spreads its pervasive Presence everywhere. Beyond everything, The nothingness danced between Light and darkness, creating even More universes in its wake. The silence is the only thing I could feel, the bottomless void is my playground, and Peace – my ultimate home.
