AT THE TACKY TIKILOUNGE Cheap plastic flamingos and a coconut madonna. Pineapples and palm trees and fringed pillows with fluff. Cheap plastic party lights and other assorted tacky stuff. Like pinup girls of the 40's on a bamboo serving tray, and aceramic hillbilly that plays "The Souths Gonna Do It Again" Glasses with parasols and candles that float A hula girl music box that plays "Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho. Live tropical fish in every color of the rainbow! A framed autograph picture of Betty Grable. Mermaids from a bar down on Old Duvall Street. A souvenier shell from the Florida Keys. A Lani Kai coolie cup, from Fort Meyers Beach, and a clock stopped at 5:00 from a shop on Wakiki. An old neon Tecate sign, that states "Have It With Lime," A small metal replica of a 60's woody with Barbie and Ken riding inside. Swizzle sticks from Rick the Beachcombers and Ron John's Surf Shop. A big palm tree leaf fan, to keep you from getting too hot. A souvenier plate from the Coconut Palms Motel. A coaster that says, "Coody Brown's, Wolcottville." A sign that says "We're Old, We're Tired, But We Aint Ugly!" Yes, these and many others can be viewed here atthe Tacky Tiki Room. WordPlaya, Jan 2009
