Autumn

Changing seasons bring a different color Always into my world The greens and vibrancy of summer Transforming into the subdued orange and brown Of my favorite season…..autumn Fall has always had the effect Of bringing something new for me In contrast with its subtlety It makes me aware of myself and who I am The lessons I learnt in winter Has solidified into experience Spring and summer brought healing A rising from the grave But autumn has given me hope and understanding The realization that all seasons pass And that you have to allow the changes Those around you and within you Without it you are less then yourself After everything I can only be grateful To a Maker so wonderful He guided and led me here To this blessed autumn of my youth.
