Away in my soul
A dreamer by nature I see those un-trodden ice fields And wish to be there To live with no yield And yet here I am It’s where I belong Tell me who will heal my soul That has wished to get away for so long And I can think of no rhyme No graceful words to say That may rise from my heart And grace these tears that fall as I write. For the first time I’m saying what’s in my soul The things I have wished For, and end of what fells rotten I’m not special, Not talented But I do dream And it hurts so much For that’s all they will be Dreams, always.
