Be Thankful

·TheNightShift

When winter arrived in England Icy gales blew across the land I complained if I had no gloves Until I saw a man with no hands With the weather turning colder Down came the snow and sleet I complained if I had no boots Until I saw a man with no feet When icicles hung from gutters If the clothes I wore were thin I complained about my parents Until I saw a child with no kin So if life should leave you cold If you don’t get what you wanted Think of those who’d like to have Things you may take for granted
