Becoming...

·blink

Even an eyelash owns her own wish As you close your eyes and blow She spins from your finger and catches a breeze, Determined that this is her moment She glides out of the window Is carried straight through the trees And propels herself to go on. She floats down from the sky Towards the gurgle of a stream Dips her tip through the waves To be splashed back to air. As she soars to the sun Her heart lifts her higher She has achieved her secret wish Her tiny invisible strand is forever changed By her free flying daring adventure.
