Being an Addict

Being an addict is like having Cancer, Flushing out my entire system of the deadly disease is the only answer.. My disease feeds off my addictive actions, Doing what’s wrong and what’s not best for me is the main attraction.. Insanity is the name of the game and I’m stuck on playing it the same, And I’m always sitting front row, Ready to pay top dollar for the same exact show. I truly believe in my heart of hearts I can beat this deadly disease. If there is any shred of doubt, The Disease will run wild all over me and eat me up from the inside out. I know there is no cure, But I can endure, The AA Treatment plan, as the only door, To the future I want, that holds so much more..
