Believe

Believe Golden glints embrace your hair, As wide brown eyes with lashes long Cast shadows on your soft fair cheeks. You fill the air with pleasant song. My fair haired Porcelain Princess; With skin so fair and softly kissed By sunbeams painting roses And angels add you to their list. Now dancing free upon the lawn A barefoot nymph in agile swirl Piquant expression shining bright Such eloquence, from one small girl. Twirling, spinning, face to sky Inpale pink dress with a pearled tuck. Flowing ribbons flying free Transparent fairies bring you luck Your spell has touched my spirit The feel of your tender embrace The light that fairly dances On your blessed angel face. I look toward tomorrow Seeing all you can achieve You have so much to give the world Believe, believe, believe ! IlaMae Stucki (c) 12/10/10 Written for my granddaughter Bailee Stucki (age 9)

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
