Between Me and You
Dad For you I have some choice words Don't worry, none of them happen to be cuss words. To think after all this time we would be where we are Distant and reserved I guess we can only be who we are. But I wonder, how often do you think of your oldest son? I often think about my siblings, down to the youngest one. Do they know they have a brother, who loves them like no other And who wouldn't stutter to take a bullet, just so they never have to suffer You once asked me a hard question And I guess I'd have to die To save both my sisters I would give my own life And I hope you feel pride, every time you see that picture For me it makes me sad thinking about every time i missed you. And it's funny how when I was younger I was such a goofy kid Now I've gotten big and turned into an angry man I guess you look at Brandon to remember how I was Then glance at Carlina to see why he's gonna change -Just being honest
