Beyond The Tears You Cry

Streaming pools of nervous mystery Scattered feelings layed over your cheeks While minds storm for their common ending Through those tears I see rivers of emotion drounding you I've held back the tides but it broke my body in two And pieces still lay surronded in hollow, dark places When everyone see's a tear I see an ocean Eyebrows bent in sad saturation Face contorted in agony As my hands are bundled with you between them I connect my heart to yours like a tree to soil Drenching your body in clouds of consolidation As my blood boils to hell bound levels Her tears create pools of problems on my shoulder Her body cradled in mine like two vines intertwined Thoughtless hearts engaging in an eternity And behind those tears are falling fossels of ancient anguish Torturing the waters that hold your head in place Caught behind those eyes hide an innocent darkness Screaming for light and pleading for empathy Holding demons in my clenched fists Releasing you of your darkness And feeding you tears that are born from happiness.
