Birthday Magic

Birthday Magic Birthday banners brightly beaming from the ceiling they hang down. Children's happy screams of laughter as they gather round the clown. Illuminated lanterns shining Made by loving hands with care. Birthday gifts heaped high upon the bureau right beside the stair. "Happy Birthday" little boy Candles shine upon the cake You blow them out, we watch you smile Most sincere wishes you did make. Fingers fly through printed paper You try untying rainbow strings Our wish for you is so much greater hoping fo you,the best of things! All the gifts have now been opened There they lie upon the floor They've been given their ten minutes Andfilled his little heart with joy. The house will surely sleep tomorrow; playing children will be gone. Rainbow streamers taken down, Yet our wish for you will carry on. IlaMae (Ike) Stucki 7/21/2011

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
