Black and Blue

·Missy

You broke her that evening When you threw her across the floor Those bruises you left on her legs Reached her very core Now she's lost on the highway Looking for a way away from you Perhaps she'll die tonight With her heart all black and blue Inside she's dying Or perhaps she's already dead Her eyes are lifeless Just bits of coal stuck in her head Her smile is forgotten You stole it from her that night Turned into a monster And it wasn't even your fight She's lying on the floor now In a pool of her own blood Broken, beaten, dead Lying in the mud Next to the highway That was her road away from you Is where you'll find her rotting With her face all black and blue
