Black Lilies

19 Jan 2007

·rossi

You have planted black lilies in my heart the soft mud has now grown hard Your angst fuels their longevity Their beds are long lines of regret and dispair Watered only by salty tears glistening against their shells Capturing figments of the rage buried deep in your veins Sunshine can not filter through the shrouds of your anger I can only toil in this pain that you have set aside for my garden of broken flowers and dreams
