Foolishly blind, I walkeda crooked path. My cautious steps absconded from the lovers quarrels, of heart and mind. I dare not stray with gaze into the dark where shadows lurk. Yet fowl the breathe, breathing down my neck, that tarnish the skin, ears that ring. Frozen in time, flooded my mind, these faint sounds of winter chimes, teasing my senses, with ill winds, playing, poisonous sweet melodies onmy twisted spine. Sanguine, the hearts desire that validate these glimmers of light, and beg me forth. My arms outstretched with fingertips that bath in warm, glowing light. Heart a flutter. Sudden pause, icy claws, cutting into flesh and bone, dancing to dark renditions. Fading, slowly fading... Into the abyss…that linger
