Blood Cancer
Broken at the knees, Frail and crumbling, I raise my blanching eyes To you, whom I despise Oh sister, carved out of the dead stones Would never leave me here to waste alone Bruising down my calves, Tendons rendered into halves, Brother, please, do not forsake me here Where we breathe out of tubes all milky sheer Your hand that has pushed me, and left me to pass Would cover your ears to the favors I ask And the blood is tainted now Running from your lips and off your skin Will you shiver when I go? Or stay to scorn my name and pierce my shins? Brother, will you carve my heart to burn? Your blood is eating the flesh angels have spurned You are cancerous and need to be cut out I’ll be devoured by your cells without a doubt ______________________________________________________ I'm not sure if this flows well or makes much sense to anyone reading it.
