Blooming Life (Pathya Vat ) should you must die no other way what do you say love questions why seed is woven lone you feel shy pending that tie life blooms in Spring worries gather on your forehead sleepless on bed death--no reply rajkumar@Iowa 03-12-2014 Note:--From The Poet's Garret S.E Asia (Cambodia) Pathya Vat An interesting little form, which like most SE Asian forms, has a short syllable count. I this case there are four lines of four syllables. Only lines two and three rhyme. With this form it is common to have single stanza poems. However, if more than one stanza is needed the two middle lines rhyme with the last line of the previous stanza. (I think we can see the French influence here). *You can also turn it into a three line poem by connecting lines 1 and 2. I will only allow this once in a stanza -- no couplets, or stanzas of two lines lines. O. O. O. O. O. O. O. a. O. O. O. a. O. O. O. b. O. O. O. O. O. O. O. b. O. O. O. b. O. O. O. O. rajkumar
