Blue Eyes
A pale green. Shiny. Specks of yellow and silvery. Ringed with a line of dark grey. "Snake eyes". Almost the colour of the sea but clearer, like glass. The colour of these eyes. His are blue, brightest blue, like the sky. I've never seen it before; that deep natural skin, those eyes. Summer sky. Those blue eyes thatstared into my own across the table, as we waited, waited for the sun to come up, waited, waited for it to be tomorrow. A striking blue, gazing at me from under dark brown curls, those lips. And I sat there, I looked at all this, this beautiful boy in front of me. And he looked back. I didn't want to leave. I had to. I promised I'd go back, and I need to. And I looked out of the window and watched, I watched those beautiful blue eyes as I left until my own filled with tears, blurred.
