Blue eyes
And I see her glorious as usual and dressed in white like an angel descended from heaven pure like snowflake crystals Shining as Sirius in the gloom Delicate as a white camellia in bloom Fearless, I should step forward Speechless, I need to step back What to say? Every time our eyes meet her smile fades away and I see nothing but cold heartless blue eyes revealing naught Sometimes I wish I were blind and my eyes don’t linger (on) yours In those turquoise mirrors I see only me Wandering in pain for love isn’t a garment I can leave behind It is a skin I have to tear And one day I wish to see tears Seeking no revenge But to know you can feel a fledgling dream to fly between clouds Instead, is confined in a cage Yearning for an end I’ve to wander For how to end What didn’t start?
