Bonfire Night
Tonight, when glowing faces warmed by bonfire flames are rosy with excitement and hearts beating fast whilst looking to the inkpot sky waiting to see fire-flowers and starry spectacle- I will spell my love out in smouldering words drawn erratically in sparkler flashes. Is there a rocket that will fly so high you can see it explode from where you are, illuminating the darkness with my passion so brightly you will think dawn is near? And with every word softly spoken, know that my spirit secretly soars with the stars.
