·Absinthe Friend

I’m the worm, The worm on the bookshelf, Chomping through Leonard Cohen, Rimbaud and Baudelaire, Desperately digesting my way to Shakespeare’s finest via Homer and Edward Lear. I stall at The Da Vinci code, and the Silence of the Lambs deafens me, I clear my ears and chew on. Tolkien kept me busy for a while, Hobbits and Orcs firing arrows and crossing swords all over Middle Earth. Fishing for beginners, photography and cookery, All bland and in need of seasoning. But finally I feed on Hemingway, Wilde, Dickens and Twain. I’m full!
