Breaking Fast (A Reversal and Revision)
Circle and Motion, flawless creation Violent Red sunrise, indelible nation; Stories changed the eldest blood renewed, Praying, pages flipped for answers grew Characters, cooks wasted and lost Hearty meals and boiling pots Slow thoughts, obstructions gained Meaningless lives, replicated failures rained. What's lost and found, a treasure chest of what? Pineapples, fresh water, oaky sawdust, Do you doubt what manifests inside? Shifting wishes shimmer the unclaimed prize, (Milky Way Galaxies and Reese's for breakfast?) A lurking faith grows desperate every day. We lack the strength or courage to find our way, Our God, the one magician, holds the key: and unlocks the Door when we are free.
