Breaking The Ice

·Karma

Reflecting... Once forgotten fragments of memory of a more happy time, A now hardened corner in my heart to allow my self to leave behind, Past heart felt friends , formally genuine, currently fake, Barely shards of thoughts off on tangents casually surfing through space, Randomly scattered about while at the same time entwined, Submerged somehow also distant laying low somewhere on the back of my mind. Faded friends, lost, forgotten, Discarded remnants of once the honourable kind, Presently unfortunate casualties with departed brain fragments, suffering logical absence, Bearing often a disturbing and desolate estranged lasp of mind. Author's note: I wrote this in dedication to a group of friends I knew who succumbed to the P, Methamphetamine, crack (Ice, hence the title) epedemic.
