Bridge at night
On the humber bridge at night my friend whispers to the moons reflection , his thoughts burn with pure moonlight he boasts of being given deaths protection . during the day he waits in dreams looking for evidence of the moons pledge , he hears the dispossessed and there screams driving him towards the dreams edge In the mornings he waits with a candle in the humber trying to light the moons lamp , the voices of the disappeared rise out of there slumber in the candles flame they set up camp . my friend is lost in hull drunk with the twilight the fiery moon sets his candle alight , out of the flame a thousand voices take flight they all demand answers from this bitter hull night.
