Bridges
We learn, we grow, We become arrogant, We lower those guards Meant to protect us We believe our observations Will spot the dangers All the while Making excuses for backs turned, And for eyes closed, Because of the good job we've done. But Our bridges will fall Maybe not tomorrow Maybe not next week But they will fall Not because of terrorism, Or because of malice, But because of our ignorant Choices, made in arrogance, And when they do Know You have been warned.
