Broken Vows
Cradled round the winter hours Her eyes they held the obsolete She could not speak her mind Far more anxious mis-laced seams Through iron fields he trudged to her The razored shards filled in the sky Thunder screamed his lost distaste Their wounded waters seeped By raindrops lit his passion Her arms grew further cold The winter hours vast devoured She waited evermore
