Brother
Raised to be a man, from the brutality of another, Taught ignorance in life, not choosing his Mother. A menace to the law, the lack of a loving father, Beaten and bloodied, asking life Why bother? A childhood of Juvie Halls, a criminal at youth, Expected to be pampered, deceived by false truth. A brick to the face, a father forcing him away, Given a chance at life, a Mother's place to stay. Military bound, a newborn child's Dad, Overseas he went, without the wife he had. Shown signs of going strong, head on straight, Fooling us all, came home his heart on a plate. Lies he fed her, slowly losing her trust, A Mother's bond, now turning to dust. Pushing her away, in a manner not right, No longer a son, went out in a fight. Discharged in dishonor, with a divorce underway, A second chance lost, a bad father to portray. Dead to me now, as my Mother was to him then, Face to face scenario, I may kill him again. Raised to be a man, a man like no other, Stripped of love, a regret of a brother. Shibber.NET
