But now i fail
The sun is shining ever so brightly, Yet I feel so dark inside, The beautiful winged creatures sing, But my voice behind the world is screaming, The people fill with joy, But little do they know how the tears swell up inside, My voice is so loud to them, But really, I am deaf. I glow with an unknown energy, But the light bulb only flickers inside, sub-consciously, Literature and culture overwhelm me, But the monotony is ebbing on, My smile is wide throughout the day, But that smile to me, is historic, My eyes are wide and hopeful, But the corners show no happiness, I walk in the paths of my friends, But feel like I am spinning around and before them, I am alive in their eyes, But really, inside, I am dying.
