butterflies with broken heartstrings

so... i've considered considering the considerable cost... of loving a love that i've already lost... not once not twice but more times it seems my love for her has been tangled in dreams tangled my heartstrings tied to butterfly wings fluttered in flight so rapidly with no flight-plan no future no landing i see and the reality is real as real as it seems if only the reality in my dreams could see that there is no reality to these haunting dreams no net to trap those butterfly wings no line to grasp from my jaded heartstrings no ghost from the past with our prophecy just a spine chilling chill that spills into me from a glimpse in the past that used to be and how useless the love she claimed for me has claimed my life... and my love from me and as i look through her beautiful eyes i see her soul... i can see her disguise i see that the past... was filled with lies just how many tears am i willing to cry? and how many days and sleepless nights... am i willing to let my butterflies take flight? so... i've considered the cost of my broken heartstrings floating in time on butterfly wings and so long ago... i set them free hoping she... would catch them for me but as a mistake unforeseen when i set them free they needed love to survive ...love to be free they needed love to find their way... back to me and the reality of my dreams is apparent it seems... so... i have paid the price of a love no more... with broken heartstrings from the one i adore and when i looked through her... as she opened the door my butterflies have paid by flying nevermore...
