Café Solo

In this dark room was where I dwelled My mind An inescapable reality Layered with beautiful dreams, all withheld The black, hot, liquid is what my mind craved A swift voyage from this doleful place One drop was all it would take Sharp and strong A solace from my bitter ache One drop Extracting my essence and reaching great depth One taste Drying all tears once shed, once wept. TAKE A DRINK Let the caffeine overflow… Send butterflies through your veins Will and strength from your soul Shed light on every dark corner of your mind No sugar. No sweet fulfilling cream Let every untold dream unwind Feel the warmth serge from head to toe Trickling and tingling Streaming through your core with an endless flow Align yourself with the stars above Emblazoned Follow that solitary path So distantly you’re in awe of Let love adorn the walls of your heart Once misguided, adrift in space Let the beginning of this marvel start Set free all imprisoned thoughts None absurd or inane… Drink that coffee K Let those verses spill out your veins.

Hi everyone. I have not been on here in quite a while do to a lack of inspiration but I have recently started to write again so I am glad to be back. I am still sort of a novice when it comes to writing but I do know that I am in love with it.
