Californian Sunset

Evening sun melts into the sea spreading its golden tranquility, while seagulls gather upon the shore with squawking tales of gull folklore. The lapping waves are gilded balm, night lovers make romantic charm, the air is warm, California style and strident youth has drifted by. This is the time for deeper thought; enchanted solitude now caught, as I reflect 'pon greater plan while California breezes fan.

Started writing poems at age 14, lyrics a lot later and am still doing both to my astonishment. Along the way I wrote a couple of novels and they are published by Amazon. I am gloriously happy in my marriage, after 50 years and I am relieved to say...
