·Rêveur

Push, hold and pull me like a rubber band I’ll stretch Leave me lying in the sun expanding, brittle and undone Pound me with your memories, gleaming mirrors from your shore Make me feel your constant pain, a wasteland with norain Gripe beneath your breath, being pleasant and then glum Smile whenever I arrive A forehand with a backhand drive Maintain this foolish attitude, your strategy’s exposed Response is what you linger for, but I have left and closed the door Now if you wish to knock I propose you change your mind Next time you choose to act this way I’ll treat you like a gamma ray Ilse
