Glory on a summer’s day Just let in the light Fill the senses to the brim And dance off in the night Hear the beating of the drum Sing glory remember me The heart beats as heart breakers Break bones in me Pin me to the floor and scream in my ear “You fool! You fool!” “Can you really not see?” “The one who is the heartbroken is not you,” “It’s me”. And with a tentative hand She held up a noose “So goodbye and farewell” Sing glory remember me The daydreams grow dim Sing glory remember me
