Chatroom Date

In the quiet solitude of my little den, Time once more to take up my pen, To recount a truly delightful repast, At the V & A Waterfront on Friday last. We have not yet met...what can I expect? Me, Mr Cool, detached, circumspect; Completely bowled over, swept off my feet! By a stunning young lady, so vibrant, petite. We have just greeted, she gives me a hug; No wonder, you say, I am looking so smug! We set off on a date I always shall treasure, And also remember with very great pleasure. Wining and dining, bedazzled, entranced, Yet fully aware that my being's enhanced By a beautiful lady who with radiant smile, Weaves special magic, for me, for awhile! My cup runneth over...heart's beating fast; Have I found my true soulmate at last? Bide for awhile, I tend to wax lyrical, On the subject of that sweet little miracle! Time passes too quickly...always the case, Parting's sweet sorrow, must wear my brave face. How bodes the future? foretell I cannot; A snap of her finger, and I'm there like a shot! And so fellow chatters, my tale I'm suspending. What, you do ask, no happy ending? Don't you believe it, *heart goes boom! boom!* She's right here now, in this very chatroom!
