Cherrapunji : The Real Queen of Hills
Flow along the mountain river she will bring you to me in this misty sleeping valley… ensconced in swirling clouds on 4500 feet above the sea. I’m Cherrapunji.. You come & standby me.. On that solo balancing monolithic stone watch my beauties thru thousand falls silvery mesmerizing un-matched un-tamed most beautiful virgin world I’m envy of Mississippi & Niagara Falls. Rains fall over me whole day & night I hold dark menacing clouds compel them to blow & descend down clouds hug & kiss the hills & valleys raindrops beat all roofs with awesome pattering sounds; Sun & Moon feel scary of me they rise and set on my Will amongst dense Wood, Rocks, Pineapple Orange trees, Orchards, Ferns & Moss I’m the fascinating “Queen” of all hills. By Auro 17th September 2011 [Cherrapunji is a beautiful hill station in northeast of India. It is 4500 ft above Mean Sea level. Maximum rainfall is taken place annually and becoz of this reason Cherrapunji has got its place in Guinness Book of World Records. Cherrapunji is approachable by roads from Shillong (Meghalaya).
