Children of Sentience

·Mental Journey

How can we, free thinking beings, continue to fight? We talk about out differences, how “they” will affect our future, We plan our attack, how to educate, convert, keep out, or kill, All those who we do not understand, or who do not understand us! But we fail to see the reasons that we all should come together We are all, regardless of race, color, culture, sex, or educational level, Governed by the same aspects of nature, kill or be killed, Eat or be eaten, evolve or be left behind, and most important Spread your DNA, or perish from the universe for all time. These natural laws drive every form of life Pushing a single cell to evolve, learn, and cooperate. Growing in numbers to multi-billion individual nations, Until, by some spark of unimaginable origin, they become sentient! But in all this, that same life forgets the very thing that created it, It is not the similarities that allow us to flourish, it’s the differences. It is the mixing of different DNA that allows an organism to evolve, And it is the mixing of different ideas and perspectives, That allows a species to learn, grow, and create, Just as three thousand years of different perspectives From Greece, Egypt, China, Italy, France, England, Germany, America, and countless others, have culminated in Relativity Let our similarities bring us all together and, Let our differences help us continue to grow! Let’s build better lives, and a better future for everyone.

Mental Journey

I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
