Children of Spring
When Darkness still lingers, The last snow has fallen. Leavin' nimble fingers; But Spring is callin' Loud and bright: "Oh children of mine, It's time, it's time. Come, children, come! Sing your rhyme!" "When Darkness still lingers, The last snow has fallen. We come, we go. The Light is calling, In green and yellow we come, we go. We brighten, we frighten, 'bit eery, 'bit odd. We chirp, we sing: We bring the Spring! Sky blue, sky white, Our colours are bright! We're young, we're old. Among us it's told. Our colours are bright, Our eyes' mint marbles might, Brings life, laughter, light. We brighten, we frighten, 'Bit eery, 'bit odd. We chirp, we sing: We bring the Spring!"
