The morning awakes as I start to rise My stomach voices its need for surprise Sadness is I, when my body sings its hello Feeling there is no rush to the place I should go The floor walks me down to my dampen container Relief through my veins as my blood’s getting thinner Thoughts float away, I breathe scented and sprayed Time stops for now or at least it’s delayed The day just begun, begins to exist I wrap my whole in a blanket of mist Back to my rest where I’m now aware Making my expression choose what I wear The hand brushes me as I do my locks Get ready to impress the order of rocks My machine waits outside for me to steer through Ride my mechanical horse over another or two Adjusting my self-image, I glance at the reflection Is this for me or to see another’s misjudgment? Thoughts lasted mere seconds, I found myself guiding Over hills, under bridges, nature subsiding Here I am, there you aren’t, I think it makes sense It’s not where I am; without you is my fence You I’ve not found, it’s you I look for I look but cannot see you behind every single door I know you are there; you are all around so to speak Is it you I cant find or is it because I haven’t found me Life throws me a chance yet I am not awake Before I decide I think I’ve made a mistake The sun reverses its rise as I retreat to my hide It’s safe but not bright like it should be inside I think of what’s done and what has to be done Wasted a day planning and not having the fun Tomorrow’s another, let me be it or not Before I start recollecting, I think I forgot The morning awakes as I start to rise I think today I’m in for a big surprise
