Christmas 2020 #1

The best- perhaps as a child, the puppy... my favorite doll or no, the best was the bygone atmosphere and those now dead, gathered at the table to a magnificent meal and the finest porcelain, ardent conversation and an assortment of pastries... And later, the parties the festivity and pizazz followed by the revelry of New Year's... Then today- no, not the worse ( though for some yes,) but I am appreciative for any connections- social media, phone... to still have food, a roof overhead and health. Everything is different, true... though we can't let the spirit be marred by necessary distancing nor fear.
