The voice that repeats such lies echoes in my head thundering unceasingly like the boom of pain that empty words can inflict like salt on an open wound yet under the guise of a meaningful smile tears that wash away deceit and cunning glances, the heart believes the tainted notes of that harp that come from you like poison arrows should i eat your bitter fruit hoping that with enough attempts just one shall fall upon me sweet? shall i carry your burdens still hoping that you shall see my intentions for you are true? or should eyes go past mask of malice and make my heart brave enough to turn and run?
