the stale-heated air invaded his lungs with contempt as he found himself stupefied drifting down the dusty aisles of a fools paradise of wants and needs with a voice blaring over the intercom: everything must go!! buy one, get one free!! even the rotten corpses!! found them sitting on the empty shelves with legs swinging back and forth chewing minty-fresh bubblegum their vacant eyes submerged in boredom their cadaverous limbs oozing the acidic-green sludge of mediocrity he saw his reflection on the checked floors grabbed his chest and ran towards the exits in vain fading fast as a clock struck 6 and another day began…
