Coaxing out the Lemur
Coaxing out the lemur to a rash and bloody End I stand upon the opposite side of the road (with a porterhouse in my hand), From the hole of a happy lemur (soon to be my flattened friend), I see a frightened head pop out (for an eighteen wheeler’s at hand), With stripes of black and white (and an openly happy smile), I wave the steak high and proud (to show it where to come), And the scent flows across the way (and draws it from its cave), As it dashes toward the smell of blood (for that is truly draws it near), It’s flattened in to the asphalt and mud (And I laugh until I tear), -dedicated to all our friends at PETA & the EPA
