Collapsing Happiness

·Forward Enigma

Happiness It’s an essential part to feeling human It flirts with our sub-consciousness Kisses the lips of our well-being Reminding us who we are We starve ourselves of it at times Blind to the depravity, we become numb Resistant to its calling Falling away from our true selves I can’t stand it It’s not me We each need something of our own Stone-cold, I stand Landing a true human emotion Something that’s dark Something that’s hollow Something that’s stark and that no one will follow Something that represents me With it, I will retire to the gauges of my astral plane I will remain apathetic I will restore loneliness I’m finally gripped by this impassiveness I’m collapsing happiness Suddenly, this satisfaction doesn’t seem so satisfying anymore
