Colors Of His Love

His crystal transparent love glitters, Glistening in white, Lightening like the smiles of thunder When his love is white, I can see through his mind I know it’s time when what he has got Craves for what I’ve got We would loose our heads to our hearts Beam, blush and give in When red beclouds his love The music of our souls disagree I would behold passionate hatred Oozing out so densely through his red eyes With the exactitude of the rays of an angry sun As though the ozone layer has been eliminated Heartbreak would embrace me fiercely The cloak of sorrow I would wear As it seems there will be no tomorrow When his love wears black apparel Darkness rules our world He finds everlasting comfort somewhere outside No more affection, no more coming home My touch turns thorny “I love you” becomes stinging to his ears Perpetual frown builds a permanent home on his face The foundation of our union becomes shaky Sometimes he hits me for daring to query him Our love goes void At such times, I’m usually thrice less my size Obinwanne Seaman Barry © 2006, All Rights Reserved.
