Compromise
A poet's pragmatism Can be dangerous to words For from their best opinions Speak the lips that have them scourged; When form is disregarded For the sake of making rhymes These minstrels write new verses Compromising meter for the sake of adding more adjectives in a poem that already has far too many lines.
