Concrete Angel
We'll always have the ribbon of sky That we watched together, you and I. Nothing more. I don't wish to see the weight of you, how if you were free, you'd crush me. Your softened edges would hurt and scrape me. Your arms would never see fit to hold me. No, you'll always look skyward and fly for me, Your lie is still alive, alone But truth is nothing but a stone.
