Concrete Rendezvous
Written By Glenn McCrary & Jacqueline Webb Uncoordinated, Whetted by lust, We let attraction guide our bodies---- The elegance of yoga or ballet lost in the moment. Jauntily I danced, Cradling my muse across my knees; The rest of me ready for intimacy to be engaged. Along the damp concrete, Conceived by way of a symphony Like that of the autumn rain We collided. Sated by our chaotic tumble, I wiped the sweat off my brow Cleansed swiftly of all belligerent woes---- The euphoria of love busted open my heart And made me happy for Thursday to dawn. © 2011 (All rights reserved)
