Concrete Terror

One slipery shoe And one concrete tile Was all that was needed For my perpetual sorrow For my shoe had slid Under my weight I hit the ground in no time Face first My tooth was piercing Through my placid lip Many hours were spent By the sink Spitting out blood And uncontrollably crying In a few hours I shall be sporting a new look A puffy lip With a mysterious black speck I felt the eyes on me While I tried to enjoy the carnival Little did I know That was my missing tooth Although I was merely a child I remember this day vividly As though it was just yesterday I am forever corrupted ***Just to clarify, I am still a child, but this occured when I was 8 years old. Now I am 14(but don't critique my poetry on how I write poetry for my age, rate my poetry like how you rate anyone else on this site)

Hey, I started writing poetry this year. The story is simple: I had to enter a poem in a contest for a grade. I became obsessed with poetry right after. I ended up getting 4th place for my poem, my first poem ever. Although I hate my English...
