Confined in a Concrete Jungle

A world hidden behind concrete walls, bustling with life. Scavenging for food, territory and the right to move. Animals in different shapes, forms and colours. On their hurried quest, through the jungle of modern confinement. The kings of the jungle stand proud with their staffs. Prodding the inferior beings as if they are nothing. Not being able to retaliate, the commoners press forward. Their destination unknown, at least until they are called. A shred of paper grants evey animal passage through the shadowed gates. Where they will find yet another demon, waiting to drain that precious ounce of dignity. Although justice is present, it is nothing but unjustified. These frail creatures, with no protection from the demon's or themselves. They survive by remembering a dream, that blesses them with a smile. That soon they may break free from this jungle and journey the skies. That shall carry them to where a home should be. To where they may bathe in the love of a true family, and enjoy peaceful life. But sadly for now they are trapped, in these walls of organised chaos. Becoming weary, as their very essence of life is sucked dry. They begin to turn on each other, as time turns on them. The destruction of this concrete jungle, causes outbursts of spontaneous anger. Stress level are rising, as the animals are forced to sit and wait, for their entrapment to end. Yet everyday the story goes on, animals leave as more enter. The concrete jungle, where freedom comes, on the wings of a bird.
