"Confused Moon"
Distanced into space Stars so aliquot As if looking through a vase Laying in the grass with the dew Everything turns backward So Montesquieu The moon howls lonely at the wolves The soft violin of night air sings to the crickets The earth blocks out the clouds from the sky But the intrepid stars hold fast homeward-bound between the heavens I get up from my solitude Everything is right Moon dead, lonely in spite Distanced into space Stars so aliquot By:Logan Seth Gregory ~The Daydreamer~ Authors Note: The idea behind this poem is that the character see's an opposite world for a moment when he looks at the stars, like the stars are a symetrical centerline for the universe, on one side of the stars is life as we know it and on the other is a complete opposite, you may even see it yourself if you look close enough ;)
