All alone At the end of the day I sit feverishly pondering The consequences of my actions What repercussions will I suffer Is forgiveness in my future Sweet, sickening guilt gnaws at me Slowly nibbling away at my heart Shame flows from my jagged wounds Like sweet wine to my salty lips From a broken bottle called vengeance Exacting swift revenge For those whom I’ve caused pain Still I push on, wide-eyed Forging my path of destruction To claim that which I desire
